Bible studies & books

A collection of the books and Bible studies our Wednesday night adult groups have previously worked through.

Faithfully Different by Natasha Crain

Take a closer look at the contrasts between secular and Biblical worldviews. Natasha Crain argues that today’s Christian worldview is increasingly a minority in a secular culture where ideas like feelings over facts, emotional comfort as the ultimate goal, and moral relativity dominate. She helps readers recognize the most prevalent secular pressures—cancel culture, progressive Christianity, virtue signaling, deconstruction—and shows how believers can reclaim a distinctly biblical way of believing, thinking, and living. Organized around four parts—“The New Normal,” “Believing,” “Thinking,” and “Living”—the book equips its readers with clarity and confidence to live faithfully different. Crain concludes with practical encouragement for Christians to stand firm in evangelism and biblical justice despite cultural opposition

Biblical Citizenship in Modern America by Patriot Academy

Become an active and empowered citizen of faith! This eight‑week course, anchored in Christianity and U.S. founding-era history, aims to teach believers how to apply biblical principles to civic life by exploring the Constitution and founding documents from a faith-based perspective. It features contributions from figures such as Rick Green, Kirk Cameron, David Barton, George Barna, and others, highlighting a narrative that America’s founding was explicitly rooted in Christian values. The curriculum emphasizes that churches and Christians should actively engage in public life—praying, voting, running for office, and restoring what they see as biblical foundations of liberty.

The Book of Signs by David Jeremiah

Dr. David Jeremiah presents a structured exploration of 31 prophetic “signs” across five thematic acts—covering international signs (Israel, Europe, Russia, Babylon, America), cultural signs (materialism, immorality, persecution, etc.), heavenly signs (Rapture, resurrection, rewards), tribulation signs (Antichrist, False Prophet, the 144,000 and related symbols), and end signs (Second Coming, Millennium, new heaven and earth) . Jeremiah draws from decades of teaching to interpret current world events through the lens of biblical prophecy, particularly Revelation, offering both clarity and hope. His aim is to equip Christians with insight into which signs have already unfolded, which we are witnessing now, and which remain ahead, all to strengthen faith and readiness for Christ’s return
